The world faces climate change, the scarcity of natural resources, and threats to biodiversity. Against this backdrop, we must reinvent and redesign engineered products—especially those with a major impact on the environment. What might that look like? To find out, we conducted and analyzed interviews with 30 prominent figures from the engineering industry. These experts provide valuable insights into the global forces shaping engineering. They also highlight the adjustments that companies deeply rooted in engineering must make to successfully navigate this path.
